ReplyDeletewell the more radical Idea I have is drop the bikes and add a battlewagon with deffrolla, 2 big shootas, and armour plates. Add another 152 pt Boy trukk squad and add 10 burna boyz...

the less radical Idea I had is to either drop the lootas and add 2 deffkoptas and use the remaining points to up your wargear on your boyz/trukks/warboss

drop the lootas and add 3 more bikers... this would increase the squad considerably and increase their staying power...
Here is another option that I've been thinking about, talked with Chrono about this as well and he seems to be in support of it. HQ

hmm, couple tweeks I may suggest, get rid of the cybork on the big mek, and take a bosspole instead. I would be a real shame to have the burna boyz run at the first sight of trouble. Also drop the second rokit on the battlewagon, I doubt the second one would ever get a chance to shoot.
ReplyDeleteeh... interesting... but thats a lot of burnas, when I think 10 will do the same damage over all. The bigmek doesnt need cybork as he shouldn't be in close combat anyways...
ReplyDeletetoo few units. I would suggest dropping the rokkits and picking up a second big shoota on the BW and adding armour plates.
THen dropping a deffkopta and adding in a boyz unit...

taht comes to about 944 points...
this will give you the same hitting power, with an additional troop to capture, a battle wagon that is optimal (as a battle wagon can only shoot one weapon anyways if it moves) and a big mek that can attack an additional vehical when the battlewagons rams.
boss pole is a good idea, dropped the squad down to 10. Does it matter then that they won't be fearless? What about taking a deff dread with the extra points? He would count as a troop choice
